I know his problem and I am having the same problem. This is everything including the fix but I can not understand coding so I really need someone to help me with this.

The login and PW can not be saved because it will not find the options.php page. From what I collected, these are the codes that are used in your plugin in order to make it work because the settings have to be white listed.

Code: Select all
function myplugin_admin_init(){

Code: Select all
add_action( 'admin_init', 'myplugin_admin_init' );

The following link is from wordpress explaining the problem with options.php with a simple fix

This is an independent website showing the fix

I have WordPress MU 2.8.4a

I have installed the latest bubblecast plugin (1.1) and followed the instructions about posting the sitewide_bubblecat_video_plugin.php in the mu-plugins folder.

I can activate the plugin fine. I also registered at bubble-cast.com and received my login info.

However, when I go to the bubblecast settings, the page looks like this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bubblecast plugin for Wordpress brings users' video to your blog.

* Add video to the post when you're writing it
* Add video to your comments
* The tag [bubblecast id=123] is pasted from the widget

Type in your Bubblecast login and password below and log in.It should be done only once, after successful logon the plugin will remember the credentials.If you still don't have Bubblecast account, please, register here

User name
Password
Language
Get login here "/>
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I fill in my username and password and click the "Save and login" button, I receive this error message:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/< on this server.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any ideas what might be going wrong?

Hi!
We fixed this issue, please, apply the new version from here:
http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/bubblecast-video-plugin.1.1.2.zip

1. Deactivate the installed version of plugin
2. Remove bubblecast-video-plugin from wp-content/plugins directory
3. Remove mu/sitewide_bubblecat_video_plugin.php
4. Reinstall the plugin following installation instructions from here: http://bubble-cast.com/wordpress.html
